The Battle of Los Angeles

ABOUT THE FILM:

The Battle of Los Angeles is an action / drama, based on a true story. A pitch for this film would be; War of The Worlds vs Independence Day vs Pearl Harbor.

The Battle of Los Angeles was the first time in history our military fired at a UFO and a squadron of "mystery planes" that entered into United States air space shortly after the attack on Pearl Harbor.

This event changed the course of history when "official denial" was put into effect to deny the existence of UFOs commencing that day (February 25, 1942), and continuing for over sixty seven years to the present. The characters portrayed in this film are based on actual people who were witnesses to the event as well as those who witnessed UFOs and reported them to the press in the many years that followed.

Throughout the span of the history of UFOs in the modern era, people have been ridiculed, harassed and in some cases murdered for telling what they saw and knew.

This is not a Sci-Fi film about UFOs and re-created UFO sightings.

This is a film about the people involved in the UFO phenomena and their courage. It is about real people betrayed by their own government, because they witnessed something the government wanted concealed.

The LA TIMES Photograph that will become the single most important record of this historical event.

The Mystery Invader got away unscathed after one and a half hours of artillery fire with over 1499 rounds of 12-1/2 pound anti-aircraft shrapnel.

Genre: Live Action - Drama
